Welcome. I wanted to provide stripboard layouts I've made to help people new to electronics and even the more experienced get into different aspects of electronics.

I verify the layouts before I post them.

Places I Buy Parts From

I often get asked where to buy things (like components etc. obviously no one is going to give a shit where I buy my clothes from)

so i'll divide this up into "proper shops" - ie legitimate sellers and grey market sellers I've had good results from. and add to it as time goes on.

PROPER SHOPS

www.rapidonline.com
a UK based store which is very fast at delivering however their range could be bigger! nevertheless - they haven't failed me yet. I couldn't find info on what countries they ship to but I know they do ship outside of the UK

www.technobotsonline.com
another UK based company - but does deliver to most countries.
sells components and kits.

uk.farnell.com
the UK version of Farnell - a major electronics parts distro

www.digikey.co.uk
the UK version of Digikey - another major parts distro

GREY MARKET
it's wise not to use these types of shops for commercial products unless you want to sit there testing each thing you get. Generally they are good for things like op-amps, Logic, timers etc. Brilliant for hobbyist use and junkbox filling.

www.taydaelectronics.com

Delhanway2009 - I got some very cheap cool voltmeters from here.

Longtianoa - a decent selection of common parts - eg my most recent purchase from them was 1000 1N4148 diodes for next to nothing (yes, they all worked)

365bestseller - this is where I got a load of 34063 ICs from quite recently.

lotusdechine2006 - this one isn't a grey market seller per se - just a cheap chinese seller of low price test gear (rebadged stuff of course)
they always package things very well.

  1. Great list for us. Thank you. But I suggest another 2 of the world's largest electronic parts suppliers, one is http://mouser.com and the other is http://www.newsmartcom.com/ .If you have any other good supplier, just tell me. Thank you

  2. Right Andy, I have bought electronic parts from these two sites. But I think newsmartcom is better, Because I compared mouser with newsmartcom, Some electronic parts can not be found at mouser, but i found it at newsmartcom. It depends on you.
